We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

e-healthy-pop-kettle-corn-microwave-popcorn-300Jolly Time was founded by Cloid Smith in Iowa in 1914. Cloid was an entrepreneur and that spirit still infuses the five generation, family-owned company today. Jolly Time has sold nearly 3 billion pounds of popcorn. It is gluten free and made using non-GMO (no
genetically modified ingredients) popcorn. Jolly Time has carried the Good Housekeeping Seal since 1925, longer than any other food product and they are endorsed by Weight Watchers. Jolly Time was among the first companies to offer free gifts in exchange for mailing in proof-of-purchase. A 100th Birthday popcorn bowl is currently available to customers.

We tasted their 100 Calorie Healthy Pop Kettle Corn which is intended to be an individual microwave popcorn snack. The box holds 4 packages, each making 5 cups of popped corn. It is kosher certified (OU) and a filling whole grain snack. .
