No foods are forbidden. It’s not the food you eat, but how much you eat and how often you eat it.

The eating plan does not suggest extreme measures – fasting, cleansing, omitting foods, liquids only, eating foods in certain combinations, or using ‘special formulas’ or pills to speed up your metabolism.

The eating plan does not give you license to eat unlimited amounts of any food.

The eating plan will not harm your health now or in the future.

The eating plan offers advice for permanent weight maintenance. It should be an eating plan you can live with for a lifetime.
