New in the Market: The Crunch Cup

We enjoy trying new kitchen gadgets.  Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

The Crunch Cup is an innovative gadget that lets you eat cereal on-the-run. Pour milk into the large cup. The brand recommends about 5-ounces. Add cereal to the smaller cup (about 1 ounce) and screw on the colored lid. Screw the cereal container securely onto the larger cup and snap the white cap in place aligning the grooves on the cap with the tongues on the lid.

Cereal and milk will not mix until you tip the cup toward your mouth. Though there is no lid to prevent spillage, the cup will not leak as long as it is in an upright position. This gadget is not meant to be a storage vessel but an on-the-go eating accessory.

The Crunch Cup is BPA-free and dishwasher safe. The brand says it will work with any ready-to-eat cereal except mini-wheat squares. The idea is inventive and would be a good stocking stuffer for the upcoming holiday season.
