New in the Market: Smart Soup

We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

SS-Thai-300Smart Soup, produced in Canada, offers 7 varieties of frozen soup. Each flavor is gluten free, vegan, and American Heart Association Certified as a heart-healthy food. Anne Chong Hill and her family launched Smart Soup in 2013 based on soup varieties that Anne had developed after discovering that she had high blood pressure.

We tasted 5 of the 7 flavors available. Each was very good and your personal taste preference will be the driver of your selection. The soups come in a 10-ounce pouch, packed either 1 or 2 pouches to a box.
