Coffee – Too Much of a Good Thing

There are a number of health benefits that can be gained by drinking coffee, not the least of which is your morning pick-me-up. Researchers from Australia (High coffee consumption, brain volume and risk of dementia and stroke. – Abstract – Europe PMC) looked at the effects of coffee on the brain of over 17,700 adults, aged 37 to 73, finding that those who drank more than 6 cups a day had an increased chance for dementia and stroke.

This study, again, points to finding balance between what you drink and what is good for your health. As with many things, drinking coffee in moderation is the key.
