Single Use Water Bottles – Not the Best Choice

Only 30% of these bottles are recycled and it takes three times the amount of water to make a plastic bottle than the water they hold. Plastic beverage bottles are the third most common item washed up on beaches. Though it is unwise to reuse single-use plastic bottles, you should use a reusable water bottle instead. Check with your municipal water authority to see if your home tap water is safe to drink and make tap water your go-to water source.
