We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

To celebrate 30 years of producing outstanding Italian extra virgin olive oil Laudemio Frescobaldi has enrobed their traditional 16.9-ounce bottle in gold. In the Middle Ages, Laudemio indicated that the best part of the harvest would be reserved for the lord.

Frescobaldi is still committed to producing the best olive oil by overseeing the process from cultivating the olives, to milling and bottling. The olives are cold pressed within hours of harvest producing an olive oil with minimal acidity and a bright green color. Laudemio Frescobaldi extra virgin olive oil has a lovely grassy aroma and a slightly spicy flavor.

Laudemio Frescobaldi Extra Virgin Olive Oil has the typical nutrition profile for olive oil: 126 calories in one tablespoon, 14 grams of fat (11 of which are healthy monounsaturated fats), and no sodium.

The Frescobaldi Group is a family-owned agricultural company that produces wine and olive oil in Tuscany. They are committed to sustainable agricultural practices and have received the AgriQualità certification from the Region of Tuscany awarded for the use of ecological farming practices that are committed to protecting the natural environment.
