unspecified1-300We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

In June of this year Clif Bar introduced Nut Butter Filled Energy Bars. Available in four flavors, each bar has a creamy nut butter filling enrobed with an energy bar. They are USDA certified organic, kosher (OU) and energy dense, delivering 230 calories in each 1.76 ounce bar. The label states that all ingredients are nonGMO sourced. Nut Butter Filled Bars are made in Canada.

The company said that it formulated these new nut butter filled bars to meet the needs of those who participate in long-endurance activities. The bars combine both quick acting and long acting energy sources.

The flavors vary enough to meet anyone’s taste preference. Each bar offers 7 grams of plant-based protein, 11 grams of fat and 3 grams of fiber.
