We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.
Quinn Foods, which we have highlighted in the past is a small company on a mission. Their goal is to produce a healthy snack, popcorn is a whole grain, with simple ingredients that the consumer can track back to the farmer who grew the corn. Quinn’s Farm-to-Bag program allows you to type in the batch number printed on the bag at www.quinnsnacks.com to learn more about the farmer who grew the popcorn you are eating. The popcorn samples we received were grown in Chapman, Nebraska by a cooperative of farmers who grow non-GMO corn. In addition to the corn, you are able to track back to the supplier of other ingredients, such as cheddar cheese, salt or oil. Transparency is a serious goal for this company.
Quinn has recently released four new flavors. All have no preservatives or artificial flavors.
