I recently had the opportunity to tour this bakery facility and they make some of the best bread I’ve ever eaten, though I am a sucker for hot bread out of the oven. Farm To Market Bread Co. is a family-owned bakery that produces and sells bread and rolls in Kansas and Missouri. Started in the early 1990s by Mark Friend, an expert on natural sour dough starters, he is still an active member of the baking team along with his son and 60 employees.
