Today we eat 300 more calories every day than we did 35 years ago. Because food is everywhere in our daily lives, we are encouraged to eat standing in line at the supermarket, at the drugstore, and while pumping gas in addition to all the coffee shops, quick service restaurants, food trucks and ice cream shops we pass along the way. With drive-thru service we don’t even have to leave the car to eat and car companies have designed car interiors to accommodate food containers. The end result of all this eating – today the average man weighs 17 pounds more and the average women weighs 19 pounds more. But, sadly, that is the average. Many weigh far more.
