We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.
What started as a homemade toffee recipe from retired Detroit firefighter, Andrew Chmielewski, turned into a business, Dave’s Sweet Tooth, for his son Andrew. Launched in 2011, Dave’s Sweet Tooth now sells toffee nationwide.
The company prides itself on handmade toffee made from simple ingredients with a sweet soft crunch that won’t break a tooth. The toffees are available in 8 and 20-ounce jars or resealable 4-ounce packages. They are certified kosher (Council of Orthodox Rabbis of Greater Detroit). We tasted 5 flavors. All were equally good and it would be personal preference which one to choose.
