We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

Snacking has become more popular than ever and people are moving away from salty chips and cookies toward more healthy options. Eggland’s Best, long known for providing quality fresh and cooked eggs has entered the snack aisle with refrigerated hard-cooked egg snacks.

Introduced this summer, each Eggland’s Best Snacks includes three foods – 1 Eggland’s Best Hard Cooked & Peeled egg, cubed cheese, plus one additional snack food.

Eggland’s Best Snacks come in 4 varieties. The packaging works as a handy tray and there is even a packet of salt and pepper to add to the egg, if you wish.

Hard-Cooked Egg Bacon & Cheddar (3.1 ounces) could be an on-the-go breakfast. It has 240 calories, 18 grams of fat, 20 grams of protein, 1 gram of carb, 230 milligrams of calcium, 80 milligrams of potassium and 590 milligrams of sodium.
