We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

Nothing says comfort food like a glass of milk and a serving of cookies. For those who need to avoid dairy and wheat products, finding suitable alternatives that taste good can be challenging.

Milkadamia is macadamia milk made from unroasted nuts grown on the Jindilli Family Farms in Australia. The farm uses regenerative farming practices focused on building soil, conserving water and adapting to the natural growing cycle of the macadamia tree. They refer to their nut trees as free-range because they are watered only by rainfall.

Milkadamia is dairy free, gluten free, vegan, Non GMO Project Verified, and kosher certified (OU). It comes in a 32-ounce tetra pak. Milkadamia needs no refrigeration until opened, after which it has a 7 to 10 day freshness shelf life. It is available in three flavors and can be used as a substitute for regular milk with a mild, creamy flavor. We tasted two.
