Fire Department Coffee based in Rockford, Illinois is owned, operated, and roasted by active duty firemen. These firefighters appreciate that good coffee with a punch of caffeine is needed to get through long and sometimes grueling shifts.
You won’t find caffeine-free coffee here. Fire Department Coffee comes as regular or dark roast as whole beans or ground. They also offer single brew cups compatible with all single-serve brewers. In addition they have a Spirit Infusion Line – rum, bourbon, and tequila. These are the coffees we sampled and we were pleasantly surprised that all of them had a smooth taste with just a hint of the infusion.

Coffee Gator Coffee Canisters are designed to keep your coffee fresher longer. The stainless steel canister, available in a variety of colors, has a valve in the lid which protects coffee from losing its flavor. Coffee beans naturally give off C02 which can degrade taste over time. The one-way valve allows C02 to escape but does not let light or C02 in the air reenter the canister and attack coffee flavor. The valve in the lid will function for about 1 year. When it becomes slightly discolored it needs to be replaced. Four replacement valves came with our coffee canister and additional ones can be purchased from Coffee Gator. A date wheel in the lid allows you to note the use by date for your coffee in case you have not used up your supply in time. The canisters come in medium and large size and each canister is packaged with a coffee scoop.
Coffee Gator Pour Over Coffee Maker is an elegant glass beaker which can brew 1 to 4 cups of coffee. You simply fill the reusable steel filter with ground
coffee and place it in the top of the beaker, then slowly pour simmering (but not boiling) water in a circular motion to brew the
exact number of cups you want. This is great coffee brewer for one person.
