We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.
Getting enough fluids daily is important for all children, but when kids drink enough water they drink fewer sweetened drinks, are adequately hydrated, and less likely to gain weight during childhood.
AquaBall is a naturally flavored, no calorie, water drink packaged in 10-ounce BPA-free bottles. This is a good size to include with school lunch or to take in the car.
AquaBall comes in 4 flavors and each is fortified with vitamin C, B6 (pyridoxine), B3 (niacin) and B5 (pantothenic acid). It is sweetened with a no-calorie, plant-based sweetener, stevia. AquaBall is kosher certified (OU).
Berry Frost features Frozen characters on the bottle.
Fruit Punch features Mickey Mouse and friends.
Grape features Marvel Avengers.
Strawberry Lemonade features Disney Princesses.
Our 7 year old taster enjoyed all the flavors but voted Berry Frost her favorite. Our only concern is that as children reach mid-elementary school years some of these graphics may stop them from wanting AquaBall included with their lunch. We’d suggest the company consider an AquaBall packaging with a more neutral appeal.
The brand calls Sunday Cats freezies. Most of us would call them ice pops, ice poles or freezer pops. Sunday Cats are different from most ice pops because they are shelf-stable and can stay in the pantry till you put them in the freezer to use. If they thaw out they can be refrozen without harm. Sunday Cats are made from real fruit juice. They are USDA Organic, packaged in BPA-free plastic, and contain no preservatives, artificial colors and no added sugar. The sugar in each freezie comes from the natural sugar found in fruit.
Sunday Cats are packaged 6 freezies to a box. Each box has two (1.3 ounce) freezies of each flavor.
