New in the Market: BFree Bread, Bagels and Rolls

We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.
As more people look for gluten free foods, companies are developing better and better products that are wheat free. Some gluten free breads and rolls crack and crumble, especially when toasted, because the gluten found in wheat is the scaffolding that holds baked foods together.
MultiseedBagels-300BFree has solved that problem with breads, rolls and bagels that cut, toast and eat almost identically to wheat-based versions. Though the taste is not quite the same, everything else is and for those who eat gluten-free these are great bakery substitutes.
We tasted 6 BFree gluten-free breads.
Plain Bagels have 200 calories, 3 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber and 470 milligrams of sodium.
