We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.
1EP4rqWyF4VmdjWPOFTbDiYBWSp72ppbvyhxEYv5VZwCello Whisps are a unique and interesting new snack. They are made of 100% parmesan cheese, nothing else, which has been turned into a light and airy crisp. The cheese is sourced from the US. Whisps Parmesan Cheese Crisps are a good replacement for chips and would add crunch to a salad or as a topping for soup. They are a healthy lunchbox treat. Our tasters loved them.
One serving equals 15 crisps (approximately 3 servings to a package) with 100 calories, 7 grams of fat, 20 milligrams of cholesterol, 9 grams of protein, 300 milligrams of sodium and 350 milligrams of calcium (equal to the calcium found in a glass of milk).
The Whisps are sold in 2.12 ounce bags. This brand is worth a try.
Jolly Time, the first brand name popcorn, was founded in 1914 and for over 100 years has remained family owned. It was the first food to be given the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval and still carries that seal on products today.
In 2015, Jolly Time introduced three Ready-to-Eat popcorn flavors. They are the only ready-
to-eat popcorn endorsed by Weight Watchers. All three flavors are zero trans fat, Certified Gluten-Free , Non-GMO (no genetically modified ingredients) and kosher certified (KOF-K).
