We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.
Bakery On Main was founded in Glastonbury, Connecticut, in 2003 to create gluten-free products in small batches. Today they have expanded to be one of the largest Certified Gluten Free and Non-GMO
Project Verified facilities in the US.
New to their product line are Nut Crunch Snacks available in 6 flavors. Original, Chocolate and Maple Vanilla have 150 calories in a 1/3 cup serving. Blueberry Cobbler, Chocolate Orange and Chocolate Peppermint have 140 calories in a 1/3 cup serving. The trick is to eat only one-third of a cup. Every variety contains cashews, almonds, walnuts and pecans. We thought the Nut Crunch was excellent on yogurt.
Bakery On Main has introduced a variety pack to its lineup of Instant Oatmeal. Each box contains two packages of three different flavors – Strawberry Shortcake, Apple Pie and Maple Multi-Grain Muffin. The names sounded like the flavors might be overly sweet, but they were not. Made with water Strawberry Shortcake and Maple Multi-Grain Muffin have 200 calories a serving, and Apple Pie has 190 calories.
All products are kosher certified (OU).
