We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

KaleBurgerBox-300We highlighted Cluck ‘n Moo Burgers at the end of the summer and our tasters all agreed the half chicken/half beef burgers were excellent. The brand has introduced Cluck ‘n Moo Burgers with Kale. This burger variety is equally good with 190 calories in a 4- ounce burger, 21 grams of protein, 11 grams of fat, 85 milligrams of sodium and 290 milligrams of potassium. Cluck ‘n Moo Burgers with Kale are Certified Gluten-Free and the company uses beef sources that are raised without antibiotics or hormones and poultry sources raised without antibiotics. No poultry in the US are given growth hormones because the federal government banned the use in poultry flocks over 50 years ago. This is a brand worth a try.
