New in the Market: Bolthouse Farms Introduces New Flavors

We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

dressingEarlier this year Bolthouse Farms introduced two new flavors to their yogurt dressing group – Cilantro Avocado and Mango Chipotle. Both flavors are based in yogurt which lowers the calories of a traditional creamy dressing to only 40 calories in a two tablespoon serving. Cilantro Avocado, with 3.5 grams of fat in a serving, offers a zesty creamy flavor that we used to dress up homemade potato salad. Mango Chipotle, with only 1.5 grams of fat in a serving, has a bit more bite to its taste which would add an interesting zip to a cold bean dish.

This summer Bolthouse Farms introduced a limited edition Watermelon Mint Lemonade with 80 calories in an 8-ounce serving. This is delightful, light, watermelon lemonade with a hint of mint. It is a nice taste change for a hot summer day. Watermelon Mint Lemonade is kosher certified (OU).
