We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

Bono Mediterranean Selection Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is sourced from Spain and Tunisia and available in 16.9-ounce bottles. Expanding beyond its olive oil production in Sicily, Bono has added production facilities in Spain and Tunisia, countries known for growing top quality olives.

The Spanish extra virgin olive oil is made from Arbequina and Arbosana olives. The olive oil from Tunisia is produced from Chetoui and Chemali olives. Both olive oils are cold extracted, USDA Organic, NonGMO Project Verified, Certified Gluten-Free and kosher certified (OU).

To ensure authenticity, Bono’s olive oil is certified PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) and PGI (Protected Geographical Indication). The extra virgin olive oil receives a unique serial number which can be traced to the exact groves that supply the olives for production. On the sample bottles we received this serial number was stamped following the Best If Used By Date on the back label. Bono is a brand worth a try.
