Once Again Peanut Butter

We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

Once Again Peanut Butter is an employee-owned brand made in a small rural town in upstate New York. The ingredients in this unsweetened peanut butter are simple: peanuts and salt. There is no added sugar. The peanut butter has a 3-month shelf life after opening and does not need to be refrigerated. Because it is a natural product there will be some separation of oil and solids. To prevent this, stir and refrigerate, or simply screw the lid on tightly and store upside down on the pantry shelf.

Once Again Peanut Butter comes in a 16-ounce glass jar and is gluten free certified, USDA Organic, NonGMO Project Verified, and kosher certified (BVK). On each label there is a small peanut print that allows you to write in the date the jar was opened.

We tasted Unsweetened Creamy and Unsweetened Crunchy. Both were slightly runnier than traditional peanut butter but each had a true, fresh peanut flavor. Two tablespoons have 190 calories, 14 grams of fat, 7 grams of carb (2 grams of fiber and 2 grams of natural sugar), 50 milligrams of sodium and 40 milligrams of potassium. The organic peanuts are sourced from Nicaragua, Argentina and the US.
