We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

Kumana Avocado Sauces were inspired by traditional avocado sauce used in Venezuela and fondly remembered from childhood by Francisco Pavan, one of the brand’s founders.

Kumana makes 3 varieties of avocado sauce. Available in 13.1-ounce jars, the sauces are plant-based, have no added sugar, and NonGMO Project Verified .

Be Original has a smooth taste with a zesty afterbite. One tablespoon has 15 calories, 10 milligrams of potassium and 100 milligrams of sodium.

Be Mango has a sweeter taste with the least hot afterbite. One tablespoon has 10 calories, 10 milligrams of potassium and 95 milligrams of sodium.

Be Hot has the most heat from the addition of habanero peppers. One tablespoon has 10 calories, 10 milligrams of potassium and 95 milligrams of sodium.

Kumana wants you to consider using this Venezuelan staple like Americans use ketchup – on everything.
