We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

Chocolate, dates and almonds – the combination doesn’t get much better than that. Chocodate is a date stuffed with an almond, enrobed in chocolate.

Chocodate is available in four varieties. We tasted two.

Coconut Chocodate is the traditional product rolled in coconut. One piece has 56 calories, 2 grams of fat, 1 gram of protein, 8 grams of carb (3 grams of sugar and 1 gram of fiber), and 3 milligrams of sodium.

Assorted Chocodate offers white, milk and dark chocolate Chocodates. One piece has 52 calories, 2 grams of fat, 1 gram of protein, 8 grams of carb (7 grams of sugar and 1 gram of fiber), and 3 milligrams of sodium.

Chocodates are individually wrapped which makes them an easy on-the-go snack or lunchbox treat. They are sourced from United Arab Emirates.
