New in the Market: Tuscanini Parchment Crackers

We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

Tuscanini Parchment Crackers are wafer-thin, delicious, crisp crackers that would be an excellent accompaniment to an appetizer platter, cheese tray or for dipping. They are also good alone and a better-for-you snack than chips.

They are available in three flavors Olive Oil, Olive Oil with Rosemary and Olive Oil with Oregano. Each variety is made with just 5 ingredients – semolina wheat, olive oil, salt and brewer’s yeast. The herb-flavored crackers added a subtle punch of taste that we preferred. The crackers are large, approximately 6 by 6-inch squares. A serving is 2 squares with 120 calories. Olive Oil has 450 milligrams of sodium and Olive Oil with Rosemary and Olive Oil with Oregano have 380 milligrams. Tuscanini Parchment Crackers are sourced from Italy and kosher certified (OU).

This is a brand worth a try.
