We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.
Both of these brands offer a frozen treat with a more good-for-you approach.
MNIRh48I8O4mMIGag7qLU-3gdz54_yZ5PZeVLJToVa8Arctic Zero is known for making low fat, lactose free, gluten free and non-GMO frozen desserts. We have highlighted the brand in the past. The company has expanded the line to include Chunky Pints which incorporate chunks of treats, like cookie dough, chocolate chips, nuts or graham crackers, in the five new flavors – Cookie Dough Chip, Cool Mint Chip, A Lil’Bit Chippy, Buttery Pecan and Key Lime Pie. Each flavor has 75 calories in a half-cup serving or 300 calories in a pint. The brand recommends removing the pints from the freezer 10 minutes before eating for a creamier serving. All flavors are kosher certified (OK).
Ruby Rockets Veggie & Fruit Pops were developed by a mom to offer her daughter a healthy snack. The pops are GMO free and kosher certified (KOF-K). Each pop contains Bacillus coagulans, a probiotic cultured from yeast. They are available in eight flavors. We tried four and our pint-sized tasters liked them all. SkfLhKvM5qzU1hdBwa0RVAA-J0LwLn2nkHhulv-HWWE
