We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.
cGRnc47c8O8-ELB3GCeX0ObG_8YRz5SOcE0GmmN0KHsTetley Tea which we have highlighted in the past has expanded its tea line once again with Natural Green Tea with Lemon. Many health experts recommend green tea because it is rich in catechin content, an antioxidant that may prevent cell damage. Green tea is processed less than traditional black tea so it is richer in catechins.
Many find it hard to switch to green tea because it has a naturally astringent taste. The lemon flavor added to Tetley’s Natural Green Tea with Lemon gives the tea a more subtle, less bitter taste. It would make an excellent iced tea beverage. The lemony flavor may also reduce the need for added sweeteners. A serving (1 teabag) has no calories, fat, protein, or sodium and only a trace (less than 1 gram) of carbs. The round, no string, no staple teabag can be safely microwaved.
A recent research paper recommends replacing one serving of sugary drinks each day with water, tea or coffee. This simple change can cut your risk for type 2 diabetes by 14% to 25%. A serving of Tetley’s Natural Green Tea with Lemon would fit the bill.
