New in the Market: Flings – Pop-Up Recycle Bin

HomeRecycleCarton-300We enjoy trying new kitchen gadgets.  Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

It is estimated that only 30% of recyclable material is collected and put into the recycling system. Flings has developed pop-up recycling bins that can be reused a number of times. It is a rather ingenious product that lies flat for easy storage but then pops open accordion style into a self-standing, 6.5 gallon recycle bin that will hold up to 30 cans or bottles. It would be useful for outdoor parties, on boats, in campers or even under the kitchen sink because it does not take up much room. Though the sample we received was intended to be used as a recycling container, Flings comes in a variety of patterns and can also be used as a portable, stand-up garbage can, too. The Home Recycle Bins are sold in a 3-pack carton for $5.99.
