New in the Market: I Love Snacking Oloves, Dipin, and Stuff’d Snacks

We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become
staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

SONY DSCOlives are full of heart-healthy omega-3 fats but few of us think of snacking on olives because they usually come fresh or packaged in a jar. I Love Snacking Oloves have changed all that. They are packaged in small 1.1-ounce shelf-stable pouches, each holding about 11 olives. Oloves come in four flavors. Chili & Garlic Ripe Pitted Black Olives has 60 calories per pouch. Green Pitted Olives come in Chili & Oregano, Basil & Garlic, and Lemon & Rosemary flavors with 50 calories per pouch. Each flavor was delicious and would make a healthy snack or a side for lunch.

DipInHires-300Dipin Dips are another innovative snack in three flavors Classic Hummus, Black Olive Tapenade and Pepper & Artichoke Bruschetta. All three are package in a 1.42 ounce plastic shell — Hummus 50 calories, Tapenade 70 calories, and Bruschetta 30 calories. With a few crackers each provides a tasty snack with a reasonable portion size for less than 100 calories. The dips are also sold in 4-ounce packages.

Stuff'd-Dolmas-300Stuff’d Dolmas are traditional stuffed grapes leaves filled with rice and seasoned with herbs and spices. Stuffed Dolmas are
available in a 1.42-ounce package with 50 calories or a 5.29-ounce package with 100 calories. The dolmas are tasty and well-seasoned. All products are vegan and kosher certified (Star K). These snacks are well worth a try.

How long can this package of stuffed grape vine leaves (150g) be kept in the refrigerator?
